We recently redid part of a ring we made years ago. The original job was to make an eternity ring with a group of diamonds our customer had in other jewelry. With a group of 16 small round diamonds, we used them in groups of 4 in a box, grouping the diamonds in a pattern around the band. After years of wearing it like that she came to us to redo those 4 square boxes with 1 princess cut diamond to replace the 4 small diamonds in each box. The after and before pictures are seen here. Goldsmith Tim Thompson did the removal and setting of the stones.
